GWeather-Maemo -------------- Homepage: http://intr.overt.org/gweather-maemo/ GWeather-Maemo is a 'port' of the gweather GNOME applet to the maemo platform. The backend code has been brought over directly, but the front end requires significant changes to make sense on the Nokia 770. MWeather is the application itself, which shows the same information as the original GWeather applet, but in a layout that makes sense for the constrained display. Although it current does not, it will eventually support multiple locations. A home page applet has been implemented from scratch that shows the temperature in the location selected in the main gweather application. In the long term, the homepage applet would probably show the temperatures in two locations as it seems to me that two locations offers the most return. Anything beyond that runs into space problems. Caveats: - Only one location can be specified. - It will not autoconnect if you're currently not online. Apparently gnome-vfs doesn't trigger to autoconnect hooks. This also affects the homepage applet. You must be connected for it to update. - Dialogs will not hide when application loses focus. - Changing the location in the full app will not be automatically reflected in the home page applet. You must manually refresh it.
