Just in time for the new year, I’m pleased to be able to say that the Bluetooth DUN package is now in the Maemo Extras repository. This is the primary location for community packages that have been through a community QA process that tries to ensure the packages are safe for ‘normal’ users. If you don’t have the extras repository turned on, you can do so by following the instructions here.

How about telling what a Bluetooth DUN Package is? Not everyone knows you know..
It’s covered in great detail if you read my previous blog entries
Thanks for the heads-up, I just installed it – and it seems to work perfectly. Great package – thanks to the developer(s).
Thank you for this. Works like a charm.
It works, but it requires extra dialup string to specify APN.
The new package also has PAN support, but there’s no application to associate GPRS this time, hopefully the writer can write a setting to make PAN setting to associate APN to connect to internet over GPRS.
mingkee,
Are you talking about the maemo-pc-connectivity package? That’s the one that provides PAN support.
phil, thanks for your reply
now I am trying to make a connection to N900 to access GPRS.
I already made DUN working, but as I stated, I need to input extra dialup string to make it work, if there’s a setting in the phone that can just dial *99# and getting connected.
About PAN, may you please make a walkthrough how to connect to GPRS through BT PAN. I tried yesterday, but end up got an invalid IP.
mingkee,
You always need the extra at+cgdcont init command. That’s normal. See this page:

and you can read about maemo-pc-connectivity in detail on it’s webpage: http://pc-connectivity.garage.maemo.org/
